Even more simply put, God is seen, correctly, as incompetition for people's allegiance to secular authority.

That's why the secular power seekers are making war upon His appearance in public. They cannot tolerate people saying to them, or even thinking of them: "Who died and made you God?"

In my humble opinion, those words should rise as a chant -- "who died and made you God?" -- in every venue that a politician of any stripe shows his face.

Keep doing this until they all get the message, "Do not dare go overboard in your intolerance to God or to those of us who revere Him. And do not dare let secular humanists go any further in re-establishing our government as founded on the belief that presumes that any human intelligence is capable of perfection in this world."
