Their is nothing more evil in this world than a fallen god, man in his current state, trying to take the place of the God of all creation. Another creature tried that once, Lucifer, and he and 1/3 of the angels get to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire for this rebellion and transgression. Imagine how serious, disruptive, and destructive this is, that a loving God would have to give out such a harsh sentence. In God's perfect judgement, the punishment always perfectly fits the crime. The criminality of fallen man trying to usurp God's authority, is infinitely evil. Just look at Hitler, Saddam, and Arafat, and their total lack of even an ounce of feeling for other people's suffering, because their demonic ego in playing God will not allow it.
