Well SAID. I started "moonlighting" as a pizza driver when we put our youngest into private school.

The logical conclussion is Tip More when the roads are BAD.

Don't punish the "Pizza Driver" for the Blizard.

Bad weather was not really a problem because we would shut down if the roads were bad and getting worse. Only once did I tell mgmt "It's not worth it to deliver a pizza when I could very easily get into a car crash, run into a ditch etc."

The way I looked at was "how much would pay someone else for the convenience of not having to get off your fat arse, drive down and pickup the pizza yourself?" When I knew I was delivering to a notorious stiffer I would take a handful of pennies and after being stiffed I would sprinkle the pennies on their front doorstep. Now the mgmt of the pizza place was dead certain that you did not complain to the customer about getting stiffed and even though I never got "caught" what could mgmt say? I could say "Hey, I figured they needed the money more than I did so I gave them some?"
