O.J. Simpson Tells Playboy He's Innocent

LOS ANGELES -- O.J. Simpson says without the money to pay for a "dream team" of lawyers, he wouldn't have been acquitted of murder charges.
In an interview with Playboy magazine, he reaffirms his innocence, saying he got off because he didn't commit the crime. But Simpson does admit that money was key to his freedom.
He doesn't know if he could have proved his innocence without spending the big bucks.
In the interview, he also revealed that after his acquittal he smoked marijuana to get to sleep. He says when he got out of jail, he appreciated pot more than ever.

In an interview with Playboy magazine, he reaffirms his innocence, saying he got off because he didn't commit the crimeI seem to recall that in a subsequent civil proceeding, he was declared by a court of law to be "responsible" for the deaths of Nicole and Ron Brown. So his innocence was not "affirmed." Thus, he has nothing to reaffirm.
