Well, at least you admit that " blah, blah, blah " repeats is the ONLY thing that YOU have done/do here. :-)

Right. The TV stations are going to let him run them for free.

Would you mind telling me what planet you live on?

He may not have as much as other candidates, but just pouring money into ads means nothing if you don't put the content into them. Simon learned that the hard way.

Funny, Arnold doesn't seem bothered by the short amount of time.

That's because he doesn't have to raise a lot of money in a short amount of time.

The window is slamming shut on his campaign.

And you're happy to help with the slamming, from the sounds of it.

I don't control the clock. I don't control McClintock's bank account. I have yet to hear a practical plan for getting McClintock a plurality of the vote in less than five weeks. Instead, I hear complaints of how I'm controlling the clock and McClintock's bank account.

Given this reality, McClintock's run reminds me of the great pastime that has done more to get Democrats elected and conservatives shut out in this state than anything else: the vanity candidacy.

This is the argument that, above all others, makes you anti-McClintock types look completely stupid.

It's not an argument, it's just an opinion formed from watching vanity candidacies on the conervative side of the house.

I actually asked one vanity candidate to step aside for a guy he agreed with, rather than split the vote and make the November election a race between a true RINO (who only put an "R" after his name because he couldn't spell "D") and a leftist extremist who made Ho Chi Minh look like Barry Goldwater.

His response: "Look, I don't care if (prominent leftist nutball) wins the general election. This primary is all about me and my self-discovery, not about winning an election six months from now."

Yes, even conservatives can drink the nutball "human potential movement" Kool-Aid out here.

Unlike you, I've had some experience dealing

You're carrying water for an actor with, at best, some history of involvement in the political process and you have the gall to describe a man who's actually working to stop the Democrat fascism from spreading in California a vanity candidate?

You realize that you just described Ronald Reagan circa 1966 to a tee?

Considering how much McClintock's actually accomplished (not much) and the very low odds of getting elected...yeah, my take is that he's a vanity candidate.

Just how much are dues in the Flat Earth Society, anyway?

I wouldn't know--why don't you tell me? You're the one saying that a no money, no name, no win candidate (when he brags about having lost by the narrowest margin in 2002, that's damning himself with faint praise) has a better chance of winning.

Good question. Maybe it's all a ball game to him.

Don't get your panties in a bunch!

My panties are unbunched.

However, you still haven't outlined a real plan for getting McClintock from "Isn't he that guy who lost for some minor office" or "Tom who?" to a pluraity of the vote on October 7th.

The way I see it, if you're gonna vote for any one of these boobs, you're probably better off voting for two at the same time.

I'm torn between the porn star and Gary Coleman.

Come on, it's Mary Carey all the way. She's pretty much the only one of the candidates I would want to...uh...get behind.

McClintock would take his office as Lt. Gov. ad hoc...

Isn't Lt. Gov. an office with no function, one of those warm bucket of spit jobs? It would be fairly ackward, I would think, to be only an ad hoc appointee as part of a "corrupt bargain" in a useless job anyway.

It isn't " arrogance ", it's my well considered opinion and since Jim has only been rtegistered as a GOP ( he was DEM up until then ! )since 2000, he hasn't always been correct, in his political thinking.

And nowhere, have I tried to " straighten out his thinking "; you arrogant, self righteous, little buttinski.
