Professor Denies Pentagon Plane Attack
vanity
Posted on 08/28/2003 10:23:45 AM PDT by wildbill
My history professor stated in class that no plane hit the Pentagon on 9/11. He claims the Pentagon blast was a terrorist bomb that was either a truck bomb or smuggled in. He further claims the Washington bound plane that went missing was shot down by our own fighters "with wreckage strewn for miles over Pennsylvania." Furthermore, he claims that the story has been covered up by the government.
I won't even bother to go into his conspiracy views on Iraq.
OK, it's jaw-dropping dumb. But not many students are willing to take on a professor. Give me some help here to take back to class.

I know there is a lot of evidentiary material out there. I'm hoping some Freeper researchers will give me some links to sound evidence I can take to class.

But not many students are willing to take on a professor.Because they realize he's gonna yell, "Coverup!" no matter what anybody says.

Is it too late to do a "drop/add"?...
Probably your best bet to maintain your sanity and your GPA. No use arguing with folks like this.
To: wildbill
How about a list of names of those who died on the plane? That would be awfully hard to cover up and the family members can be contacted and will readily admit their family members were scheduled to be on that plane and all have disappeared. That would be some conspiracy.
Also, how about asking him to "prove" his case, rather than you having to prove a case that all sane people accept?

I hope he's just trying to get you to think and search out the truth. If he really believes this the guys a loon. Do a google search... there's tons of articles out there.

What about the pieces of the plane all around the Pentagon? Hauled in by truck? I'm looking.....
To: wildbill
My daughter works directly across the freeway from the Pentagon. Although she was across town on an appointment her co-workers saw the impact.

One of the freepers, Kristinn, actually saw the plane if I remember correctly.

An idea. Perhaps the next time he says something like this, put on a tinfoil cap right there in the classroom.

I suppose the moon landing was a fraud too. If he wants to just deny things that he doesn't like, perhaps you can convince him that slavery never happened or that the so-called great depression was just communist propaghanda. Fantasy can work many ways.

I'd tell him he has no grasp on reality and challange anyone who agrees to walk out with me.
I'd leave the classroom at that point.
To: wildbill
Cut your losses and drop that class. Find someone to teach you who is sane.
Other than that you could always post his e-mail address and we could have at him.
To: wildbill
if i'm not mistaken theire were eye witnesses to both impacts. There must be reports in the press of their testimony. I believe the transcripts of some phone calls and stuff are being released today so you should be able to find conversations from passengers in the plane that went down in PA

I had this happen to me last semester. My professor made yours look like a moderate Republican, lol.
I'll help you out. Do an archive search for...
"left wing college ping"
To: wildbill
I sincerely hope your professor is merely giving the students a provocative illustration of the need to incorporate the tools of historical research to be able to prove and confirm the events of history.

That would be awesome.
To: wildbill
Put the burden of proof on him. Make him PROVE that it was a truck bomb.
