No thinking could be more dangerous than the misogynistic attitude that produces such hateful garbage.
If you have no quarrel with the repeated onscreen depiction of rape and murder in a film created for a specific audience (those who view sexually explicit material), I can only wonder about you.

Just look at history. The first rape and the first murder didn't occur until the camera was invented. The only sensible thing to do is to outlaw cameras, or at least issue a 5 day waiting period! Of course if we outlaw cameras, only outlaws will...

No thinking could be more dangerous than the misogynistic attitude that produces such hateful garbage. Oh my! Dangerous thoughts. We need the government to police those thoughts! [/sarcasm]

Here is a nice compiled bibliography of published material that studies the rape/violence/porn connection for anyone interested.

"One of the confiscated movies, Forced Entry, features three graphic scenes of women being spat upon, raped and murdered." Something you may have overlooked (ignored) in crafting your response.
So, how many scenes of women (and men) being brutally assaulted and murdered were there in candidate-for-governor Arnold's seminal work, "The Terminator," or the critically acclaimed film "Pulp Fiction," or in "Natural Born Killers," or any number of other Hollywood films?

Does this mean that the War on Drugs is over? And what's the next "War on (Fill in the blank) " gonna be? I don't want to fall behind.

"Obscenity" is simply about stopping others from enjoying what you don't. or you are afraid that you might enjoy if you were not protected

"No thinking could be more dangerous..."
WTF!!
Gee, just offhand I'd say that thinking that it would be nice to use biowarfare against us might be more dangerous
Gee, just off hand I'd think that the idea that the borders are undefended and a terrorist or a couple of million illegals can waltz in might be more dangerous.
But, golly that's just me.

Not simply by that description can one tell if it's necessarily obscene. That's why John Ashcroft personally watched every disgusting frame of that movie...twice!

The apathy being carried by most of the posters here just stuns me.
I wonder what it would take to get these people to understand?
We all know men who watch porn are often moved to duplicate scenes from the films they watch (just look at the Family Research Council and AFA websites for proof of that), why is it such a stretch to see these people duplicate these rape/murder scenes? And what if the woman in question is their sister? Their daughter? Does any of that matter to them at all?

Perhaps some good can come of this. What if we tricked the DOJ into thinking that all of those illegals sneaking across the border were really porn stars? They'd seal off the border before you could say "three-way"!

Yes, I heard there was a need for pole workers.

And what if the woman in question is their sister? Their daughter? Does any of that matter to them at all? Not getting the response you hoped for, so now you're going down the incest/molestation route? Predictable. How many more posts before you bring up necrophilia and bestiality?

Anyone who "gets off" by watching a porn that has women being raped and murdered has a serious disconnect.. while I'm sure they're a few people who can watch it.. like it.. and know it's wrong in real life.. i'm sure those people are few and far between. I reference you to a movie called "8mm" with Nicholas Gage... extremely hard to watch.

I take it you didn't like the movies. Well, no one forced you to watch them, did they?
It is precisely their kind of filth that creates and feeds violent sex offenders.--Not if you don't watch them.
You, of all people, should know.
