If she isn't brain-dead, and I have read that she is not, it is her family's responsability to have her cared for and in the event that they cannot then it is the State of Florida's responability to do so.

There is a substantial fund existing for the sole purpose of caring for her.

Her "husband" (ahem) will inherit it when she dies.

Cui bono?

I heard somewhere that the "fund" is around $750,000. Really, not a princely sum these days (although more than my net worth).

Maybe it's too late, but funds have been raised for less worthy causes. If that $750,00 could be raised on her behalf, he'd get his money and he could divorce her, and then the settlement funds would still be there to provide for her care.

Well ... it's a thought ... something has to move this situation in a different direction.

To your post #20...I don't think it's the money at all. He doesn't want her testifying against her some day. That's why he is being so relentless in denying her any kind of care.
