I see, so the only reason to be a Pubbie (rather than a Rat) is to get a tax break? How about the fact the they're much stronger on national defense, and 2nd Amendment rights, and that most are pro-life?

I think the key word was 'Southern' dim. The South used to belong to the dims - when they were conservative. Pubbies were the limo liberals, or country club Rep back then. Remember, we only had the 3 alphabet sources for news, and did not realize how biased they were.
