Clergy as Abortion Clinic Escorts
Posted on 08/31/2003 6:30:10 PM PDT by Joe Republc
I've protested and prayed in front of a local abortion clinic about 10 times over the last year. I thought I'd seen it all, but this last time really surprised me.
There was a member of clergy there, wearing the collar. Along with some seminarians, they were escorting women into the abortion clinic.
A friend of mine walked near him. (We have to stay on the sidewalk.) Typically the escorts do a genuinely excellent job ignoring protesters such as myself. But my friend and I honestly just wanted to ask this clergyman why he was doing this. He said it was because he supported "free will" and "choice."
I wish I had more a chance to talk with him, but the other protesters near me couldn't help but jump all over the priest or pastor's comment. So he walked away.
Anyway, the presence of clegy on the other side of the line threw me for a loop. I could tell the other abortion escorts seemed more relaxed this time. After all, they could pretend God was on their side.

I would have sincerely asked the clergy if he then would also escort a terrorist through police lines to a packed stadium of innocent civilians in the name of free will?
These people are being led to believe a great dilusion...and its ultimate source is obvious, as is its ultimate outcome.

Add murder to the list of things the clergyman supports. One day he will have to stand before God and explain.

Church of Satan? Freewill? To commit murder? The phoney could have gotten a gig 60 years ago turning on the gas for the Nazis.

He said it was because he supported "free will" and "choice."Sounds right. If he supported God, he'd have been on your side of the line.

That clergyman's judgement will be like the pharisees judgement in the End Times, because they knew better.

Escorting babies to the execution chamber. They ought to be ashamed, their congregations ought to throw them out, and their denominations ought to de-frock them.
Of course the fact is that they are beyond shame, their congregations mostly agree with them, and their denominations are either too leftist, or filled with moderates who are paralyzed by the idea of conflict.
Come soon, Lord Jesus.

I'm afraid to ask which denomination but regardless, they should all be excommunicated.

The seminarians carried signs. If I recall correctly, their signs said, "Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice." The clinic was the Hope Clinic in Granite City, IL, so I suppose they were from the St. Louis, MO area.
Denomination? The clothes of the cleryman looked like a priest, but I strongly, strongly doubt it was a Roman Catholic. I'm sure some Catholic priests are for abortion rights, but they would be in hot water for playing such an active role in abortion.
Could it be Episcopalian ? UCC? Unitarian? I really don't know.

Is it possible that these jerks were just posing as clergy, to try to confuse the protesters?

If I were there, I would take many pictures, then send them repeatedly to the church and congregation. God is not mocked ... to serve the evil one claiming the name of Jesus is abomination. These people, if indeed representatives of churches, are servants of evil and must have the Light shined upon them.

Incidentally, if you ever want to listen to one of these demons in clerical clothing, give a listen to Barry Lyn.

Unfortunately I am not surprised by either your experience or anything those clergy say/believe.
Contact the National Pro-Life Religious Council for a copy of a recently-released new book they published. The book is called Holy Abortion? A Theological Critique of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. It is excellent. It gives the history and "theology" of RCRC, along with the actual theology of the member denominations, using original writings to prove the stated positions.
RCRC's "god" really is "choice" and there is no higher calling. (Sick, I know, but that's what they believe.)

Here's their site.
They claim to be "religiously and theologically diverse"--whatever that means.
To: Joe Republc
That is indeed an abomination. These are the sort of callous cretins who would be sending escaped slaves back to their masters, since it's all a "free will choice" of the masters whether to own slaves or not.
To: Kevin Curry
As usual, perverts and criminals alone have free will. Normal people do not.
