But, Kerry suggested, "people want more than just anger, railing at things. They want... Katsup, Ketchup and baked beans. Not dean, just ketchup and beans, boston baked beans raised and baked in Portland Maine.

Q:Kerry to Formally Announce Candidacy, but Has Dean Stolen His Thunder?
A: Kerry who?
To: kattracks
Kerry doesn't even have confidence in his own home state....he's NOT announcing there. What must his precious Mass. think of that???

You should have seen the apalling front page picture of him that accompanied a puff piece about his annoucement in the Sunday Republican-in-name-only (Westfield, MA). He looked like a cadaver on a slab, except that he appeared to be upright.

Rush just said the announcement was the most boring piece of junk he had ever heard. Kerry's positions were firmly on both sides of every issue except that he hates President Bush.
That wasn't thunder, it was snoring from the audience!

A pre-Labor Day Zogby poll showed Kerry trailing Dean by 21 points in New Hampshire, the first-in-the-nation primary and a neighbor of Kerry's home state. Can someone tell this writer that Vermont is also a neighbor of New Hampshire! Maybe that is the reason that Dean has so many supporters there. New Hampshire-ites are not that keen with any MASShole, and especially not a rich, arrogant one like Kerry.

If Dean is the dem candidate, will Nader run again?
On the other side, how many 3rd party tidbits will enter to take their crumbs?

I didn't know Frenchmen could be President. He must have moved there at a young age.

But many analysts foresee pitfalls for Dean, such as electability. Faucheux reports that Dean has yet to make inroads with blacks, labor leaders, environmentalists and feminist interests in the party. Just one minor pitfall. One, just one.
"Missed it by that much, Chief."
