This is a time for the same kind of courage.

Change? You've been in the sinate for 20 years.

from ideals, not arrogance;

And you are VERY arrogant and have no ideas.

Overseas, George Bush has led and misled us on a course at odds with 200 years of our history.

And you voted along with it.

lost the respect and influence we need to make our country safe.

Bush did what he had to do.

It is time to return to the United Nations

No it's not.

But if I am President, the United States will never go to war because we want to, we will only go to war because we have to.

WTF do you think Bush did? Oh, yeah, you'd have the US go to war to support Communists like your buddy Ortega.

The dollars we spend at the pump can too easily fund the terrorists who seek to destroy us.
So why the hell are you against ANWR????

Today they need to raise their gas mileage and build the vehicles of the future that use clean, renewable energy like ethanol

Someone help me on this. Doesn't more ethanol have to be used to equal gas. I'm not sure on that.

will create 500,000 new high-paying jobs right here in this country.

How will it do so, and where? I don't believe you.

He proposed to let his oil industry friends drill in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. I led and won the fight to stop him.

So you do support using mideast oil.

to reverse the tide of global warming

This summer was cool here. Where the hell is the global warming?

But George Bush’s only economic plan is lavish tax breaks for those at the top.

I didn't know I was at the top. I certainly don't have YOUR money.

Under the Bush Administration, in less than three years, three million jobs have been lost. That is an astonishing failure -- and it is an outrage.

While John Kerry was senator, three million jobs have been lost in the last three years. That is an astonishing failure -- and it is an outrage.

As a Senator, I was proud to work with President Bill Clinton to turn around the last Bush downturn.

By sending our jobs overseas with GATT and permanent Most Favored Nation status for China?

So my economic plan sets this goal -- to get back George Bush’s three million jobs in my first 500 days as President. And to cut the budget deficit in half in the first four years

HOW?

• And no more tax breaks that help companies move American jobs overseas.

YOU backed it.

Everyone in America knows it is not fair, and if I am President we’re going to scour that tax code and make it simple and fair once and for all.

BS, like Bill Klinton promising a middle class tax cut??

I propose to give every American access to the same health coverage as a Senator or member of Congress.

HOW MUCH?????

As President, I will only appoint Supreme Court Justices who will uphold a woman’s right to choose.

Where is that enshrined in the constitution?

And courage means standing up for gun safety

Let me tell you what gun safety is outside of Taxachusetts and DC. 1. Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times. 2. Gun is always loaded. That's it, son.

I’m a hunter

Bill Klinton also claimed to hunt.

I believe in the Second Amendment

No you don't. You are a damn liar.

I’ve never gone hunting with an AK-47.

So f'n what? THE SECOND AMENDMENT IS NOT ABOUT DEER HUNTING

Our party will never be the choice of the NRA -- and I’m not looking to be the candidate of the NRA.

And I'll make sure I see you at the pols if you are the nominee. I'll look for Benedict Arnold and vote against him.

I believe

Keep talking since your actions speak otherwise.

BTW - I hope you are the nominee, and if you are, Michigan will send you back to Massachusetts like we sent the last candidate from there back to Massachusetts.

Dukakis lost, so will you.

BRING IT

And courage means standing up for gun safety, not retreating from the issue out of political fear or trying to have it both ways. I’m a hunter and I believe in the Second Amendment but I’ve never gone hunting with an AK-47. Our party will never be the choice of the NRA -- and I’m not looking to be the candidate of the NRA.

Heads up!!!

Kerry was Dukakis' Lt. Governor. Don't be surprised if they take Willie Horton out of mothballs if he's the nominee...

Hmmm, the slam against the Baptists didn't make the official transcript.

After the "speech" they left the camera and microphones on Kerry as he walked around and talked to people. He appeared to be close to a group of guys dressed in military uniforms when one of them or someone nearby started in on Kerry about the "AK-47" comment. Telling Kerry that automatic weapons had been banned for years, etc.

Overall, I'd say that Kerry is about as exciting as the lint that collects in your belly button after wearing a new sweater all day.

I reject George Bush’s radical new vision of a government that comforts the comfortable at the expense of ordinary Americans, that lets corporations do as they please, that turns its back on the very alliances we helped create and the very principles that have made our nation a model to the world for over two centuries.

If you replace President Bush in this sentence with Clinton, it's true.

Disagree.

The reason is that Kerry(like Dole) will share the blame. He's been there 20 years and is part of the problem. He's not going to be considered real change.

Dean's the one that scares me.

Thanking you in advance for the "Baptist" remark, let me share something from the Boston Globe

I'm leaving the Democratic party of liars, Hypocrites, and corrupt and corrupt leaders. There are no values left in the party! I am so sick of "unbecoming" "Working people""richest 1%" etc. Now We have mega millionaire Kerry who has the fire hydrant in front of his house moved for his convenience, expecting us to beleive that he is going to represent us working class....give me a break!

George, Boston

The fire hydrant story hasn't gotten nearly as much coverage as the rumor that Kerry was in Viet Nam. As I recall, he swore up and down that he had nothing to do with moving the hydrant just to open up a parking place in front of the house (Google "John Kerry" and "hydrant"). I think they sold that house later though, and the city put the hydrant back where it was.

This means we need the National Rifle Association more than ever. We need to make it larger and stronger.

Yep, he is one of those elitists that believes automatic firearms should not be in the hands of the common peaceful people. Only government employees should own such guns. I wonder what his body guards carry?

Probably also believes that my money is better wasted by some federal government beareaucrat than spent by myself.
