See, we had a RINO Governor for 8 years who Ah-nold would seek to emulate (especially on expansion of gubmint and his tax happiness), and voila ! the GOP got blamed and painted with the Scumquist broadbrush DESPITE the rank and file being overwhelming opposed to him, exactly what happened with Wilson and what will happen again with your buddy Ah-nold, and we got a nice 'Rat Governor pledging to clean up the "Republican" mess (nope, not Republican, RINO mess). So much for your "winning by incrementalism" theory. All we get with liberal RINOs is more liberal 'Rats to succeed them and move society further left. This is why I care about CA and to warn them not to follow our path (or do an encore performance), or the path followed by RINOs in places like Illinois, New Jersey, or the like... Like I said, you just set yourself up.

The slouch toward Gommorah [sp?] will continue with Arnold (I'll bet a $20.00 donation above my tithe to that) at the helm AND we'll get tarred and feathered with the fallout for not fixing the state.

What if Arnold is elected and the financial picture improves some, but we still get doofy stuff like licenses for illegals, more evironmental whackoism and moral decline? Are we to celebrate that?

I'll take my chances, just as I did voting for George W. when people were saying the Presidency wasn't worth winning back in 2000 because of all the economic troubles in the world.

Arnold and Bustamante are very close, it's going to be a finish "by a nose".

There is a lot at stake, like the life of California.

Every vote will be very important.

I would urge everyone to really think about their vote.

A vote for Arnold will be a vote for Republicans, because Arnold is getting a lot of support from the Republicans, who will help him turn California around.

A vote for McClintock is indeed a vote for Bustamante, this is NOT an opinion poll, to show that there are conservatives in California, this is a winner take all, and considering that McClintock has ZERO chance of winning, voting for him IS a vote for Bustamante, as we keep saying repeatedly, which was also Haynes's point.

Arnold would be better than any Democrat, but Bustamante is not only a Democrat, but he is in favor of specific actions which lead to the destruction of California so far, and he wants to accelerate this destruction by loosening things for illegal aliens, raising taxes, burdening business, regulating oil and this is just for start. And don't forget that he also refused to dissociate himself from MeCHA.

So the stakes are really high.

Which also means that the Dems will resort to dirty tricks we didn't know exist, and if we want a chance of winning, we need to unite behind one person and because of the situation and circumstances that person is Arnold.

The funny thing is, as much as I'm against the creep, I'll admit that I believe he might bring back some businesses to CA in the VERY short run (some thinking he'll be Mr. Wunnaful with the economy), but it's to fund his Socialist utopia (more black hole spending on the schools (read: teacher labor unions) and full scale subsidy of day care (read: who needs parents). As soon as the businesses get wise to it (and the taxes go up as they'll have to), they'll resume their flight once more, and then some... Upton Sinclair rises from the dead !

Nope, it's a vote for RINOs and a vote to further liberalism, and a vote to guarantee putting a 'Rat in Sacramento come next election time and to further shrink the numbers of the GOP in the legislative and federal offices from CA. The 'Rats WANT people to vote for him as they get to kill 2 birds with one stone, they get their liberalism enacted and they get to destroy the GOP from within. Brilliant strategy. We're not fooled, at least MOST of us are not. McClintock is the ONLY man with a plan to save California, period.
