The race is now down to three candidates -- a liberal Democrat, a Republican with Democratic views, and a real Republican, Tom McClintock. He is a Republican rarity in the state, a politician with a functioning intellect and backbone. So clearly he is not electable. It never occurs to Republicans that this fatalism about conservatives like McClintock guarantees that they will never win. The fatalism fulfills itself.

I saw some kind of focus group on Chris Matthew's show tonight. They had some freakish, lesbian-looking creature in the group claiming Arnold was a "far-right winger". The majority of the group were favoring Bustamente. A couple were even "considering" that Huffington witch. Of course, MSNBC is a commie outfit, but I tend to think Cali is doomed.

get a grip...having Ahhhhhhnuld win the state house is about getting Cali for Bush in 04 and taking a shot at Dianne and Babs...

taking a shot at Dianne and Babs...But Arnold's chief policy advisor is a supporter of Feinstein and Boxer. Checked with Feinstain before he or Schwarzenegger could enter the race...

I found a whole stash of common sense rations here folks. Plenty to go around for everyone.
I know there's a heard of RINOs around liable to stomp all over things. I reckon' they'll be here any minute. I'll man the stockade. Clam, you go to that high ground over yonder, BlackElk, we need you to start loading, and keep em' loaded!

(It's time for Arnold to stop splitting the Republican vote and step aside for the good of the party)
To: ElkGroveDan
We have became the party of RINO's/CINO's/ and Neo's. The situation in Calif. demonstrates how meaningless the term conservative and/or republican has become. I'll stand on principle myself, 50 years of party has got us nowhere.

What does it profit a party to win and lose its soul?
Exactly. Why don't some people get it? Should I hold my nose and vote for Arnold, I will immediately shower afterwards...

You go right ahead and vote for Busty.
Or Aaaaahhhhnold.
PLEASE!!!!
So many businesses will leave Cali that some of them, by statistical necessity, will come to Wisconsin. We NEED those businesses up here.
After they are all gone, cede Cali to Mexico, if Fox will take you.

I'd man the stockade, but Arnold took away my guns. LOL I'd like to finance a Recall (R)nold after he made the largest tax increase in state's history, but I'm looking for a job.

Schwarzenegger will only appear at one debate, a mid-September event that gives the candidates the questions in advance. Schwarzenegger can learn his lines for that one. He's is either incompetent, a coward, or both.

What does it profit a party to win and lose its soul? Schwarzenegger is the ONLY candidate not beholden to the Indian Gambing Mafia.
