"It's a tried and true maxim that if you are ahead, you don't want too many debates." And look what one debate got the Dimwit Davis...a RECALL! Now if a person has convictions, a platform and proposals the smart and ethical thing to do would be to participate in a public forum and show that he/she has the courage under fire to debate them...something that "Mr. Hide & Seek" apparently does not have. Point, Game, Set, Match! Hey, Ahnold, come out, come out wherever you are!

I hate to tell you this, but at this stage of the game, all the candidates, McClintock included, would minimize their number of debate appearances if they were ahead. It has nothing to do with bravery and everthing to do with winning the election at hand.
