Children never ever get over it and it gets passed on. Exactly. And that's what happened to Lance as a 2 year old child too.
The "DNA donor", as he calls his biological father, did the same thing to Lance and his mom as Lance is doing to his own children. A hard cycle to break (no pun intended actually...).
sometimes the child remembers so well the split and the estrangement from usually daddy that they will work overtime not to repeat that.
maybe Lance has a need to be recognized by Daddy and doesn't even know it.
