For whatever providential reason, men from that firehouse and the young firefighter who was the subject of the film all survived that day. This is one riveting tape and one of the most astounding films ever made. I taped the original CBS broadcast and am ordering the DVD. And yes, there is rough language that has not been edited out. But (unfortunately) only very young and sheltered children have not heard these words before, and probably should not be watching the film, due to its intensity, in any event.

I watch this DVD once a month, at least, and never fail to cry, and rant, and marvel at the heroism of my fellow Americans.
