Its not another woman. His wife would have filed for a divorce if there had been one. The story doesn't say either partner committed infidelity. Its just that sometimes people grow apart and they have to figure out where their marriage is going and how they can make a reconciliation work. Divorce obviously should be a last resort. Sometimes people need a break from each other and nothing more should be read into it at this time. Our thoughts are with Governor Owens and his wife Frances and his family.
