I think when he was President he was generally a good man. Now I'm not saying he's still the same man after 20+ years. Maybe he changed, but if your only evidence of 'hating' this nation of states is his questioning of the Bush/PNAC foreign policy, then you're going to have to bring more than that.

It doesn't really matter if you think Jimmy Carter was a good man or not.
He was a weak man, and George W. Bush is a man of strength.
There is no parallel between the two, regardless of how desperately you want there to be one, so you can excuse your dislike of this good, GOOD man......
