Fabulous speech! I especially loved all the subtle (obvious to FReepers) references to the "decadent" Klintoon administration.
I just hope the sheeple were watching... I know there's a major football game on one channel right now. Did all the cable channels and networks carry Dubya's speech live?

The comments between Hannity and Eagleburger, about Bush going to the American people more often, is right on. Most people get it, and someone has to tell it straight. Can't rely on the press.

What a horrible night. As you might remember, I had company yesterday and kept mentioning that he was to address the nation at 9:00 p.m. Turned on the TV at 8:50 p.m. to be sure I'd be front and center when it started and was shocked to catch the tail end. Assumed (foolish me) it would be replayed on C-span later in the evening but they had a replay of the seven dwarves panderfest. To top it off, I have been looking ALL WEEK for "DC 9/11" to air and wouldn't you know it -- it aired at 8:00 p.m. last night on Showtime and I only saw the last 20 minutes. Fortunately Showtime plans to show it twice a day until 9/11 so I hope to catch it in it's entirety. Here's hoping you get Showtime to catch a fabulous show.
