No need to be rude. You think it is going to be any kind of cakewalk to have a pub gov of California. The state is going to hell faster than there is time to recover is one way of looking at it. And the pubs seem determined to split the vote and get Cruz elected. But don't be so damn rude.

Whoa. Cajun girl is right. I have been advocating the same for months on FR. Any Republican elected will have to deal with the real budget problems, next year. And with a Republican at the helm, then the SF and LA papers will pillory him for the budget problems, not the Democrats in the legislature. When the tens of thousands of state employees are laid off, it will be the Governor who makes the decision and the Governor who becomes the most hated man between Oregon and the Mexican border.

I have long advocated the recall of Davis, so that no other Democrat ever dares to lie to us again. And I have advocated the election of Bustamante so that the Democrats alone will have to deal with the horrible budget problems that will be coming next year. The 2004 budget was a piece of cake, and typical sleight of hand fixed that one. The 2005 budget will ruin political careers. Let everyone be angry at Cruz in July, August, and September 2004. The Democrats made their bed. Let them lie in it, alone, for another year. Then Republicans will take over the State Assembly and State Senate.

Bottom line is we need someone in there who wil draw that distinct line. Right vs. Left.

McClintock is the only man for that job.

Arnie is the gun-control supporting spoiler, he is the $500-Million-Per-Year-Child-Care-Bill-Lobbying RINO who will not rule out taxes and is "advised" by a team of Leftists.

No one should let anyone else convince them that Reaganesque Republican Tom McClintock should not be in this race.

I'd rather have this state fall into a pit of Socialist decay under the Democrats watch than let a RINO tarnish the GOP armor.

McClintock Wins = The line gets drawn in the sand and voters begin to see the distinct difference in Republican and Democrat:
(1) Energy contracts are voided
(2) The car tax eliminated
(3) Tax rates slashed to attract capital formation
(4) Free-enterprise zones established to draw big employers tothe state
(5) Worker's Comp immediately reformed
(6) We have a living breathing example of a Conservative in charge of things.
