Respectfully, I do believe that Muslims were murdering the Christains in Europe until the Battle of Tours, France, in 735 AD. The Alexandria VA case happened locally ~ in fact it happened about 3 blocks from my office.

The killer is mentally ill. The events didn't quite happen according to the sequence the writer laid out, nor is this area overrun with mind-numbed, knee-jerk, robot-like Liberals who bow in supplication to Teddy Kennedy every morning.

The killer wasn't prosecuted for a "hate crime" since he was, in fact, put on trial for murder (where he would be subject to the death penalty, and in a trial in an area which is famous for it's "hanging juries" and "hanging judges"). Which is probably why the DOJ didn't prosecute him. Besides which we don't want to have the concept of "hate crime" imposed on us ~ it's a foreign idea that can all too readily be used to suppress unpopular political ideas.

As far as having Jesse Jackson, Kweisi Mfume or Al Sharpton around my neighborhood, they wouldn't be particularly welcome.

As it turned out an African-American cab driver provided information concerning the killer, and that information led to his prosecution.

In the end the killer was forcibly medicated so that he could stand trial. (I told you the courts around here are tough). Noteworthy is the fact that the killer was already locked up on a different charge, and his DNA gave him away.

This story is being misused to pursue a racial agenda ~ sounds more like one of the killer's tirades than a cry for justice.

Actually one of the crusades was organized by Rome to kill or forcibly convert the Byzantine Christians of the Middle East and Greece( Constantinople) and take their land, riches, Church items like the Altar made of precious stones and Gold, etc.

Quite frankly, I do not think the above merits mention in your list if you do not mention the bombing of London in 1940, the "Blitz".

If the damn "Krauts" couldn't take night strategic bombing, why did they start with daylight strategic bombing and then switch to night ops when the RAF kept the bombers at bay during the day?

You may as well mention Hiroshima/Nagasaki, and omit Pearl Harbor, Nanking, and Bataan.

This is very good. There is no URL. Did you write this? It's very good, and informative and footnoted too. Definately A+ work. You should try and get it published. It could be easily expanded, and would make an excellent magazine article. Maybe "Reason" would take it. I think the "Reader's Digest" might have in days gone by, not so sure about now. I'm fairly sure that 99.9% of Americans, of all races, find 100% of these crimes unacceptable and worthy of severe punishment.

This one was the 4th crusade and had little to do with muslims at all. The turks took over Constaninople in the 15th(1456) century and most of the Balkans in the 14th(1389).
