I don't think I can legally describe the "exit strategy" I'd like to suggest to Sen. Kennedy.

Ted, when it comes to your "exit strategy", we'll drive off that bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, sit down, gulp down another fifth of Scotch and STFU.

The Kennedy tirade against the Pentagon -- "Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz should step aside" -- betrays ignorance of the fact that the U.S. military has been the most effective agency so far for winning the hearts and minds of Iraqis.

"ignorance of the fact"???? Oh, no. I think Kennedy is well aware of the value of the US military in winning hearts and minds. That's why he trying to sabotage it.

I guess I'm just dense but if I had an exit strategy, the last thing I would do is publicize it.

Senator Kennedy is demanding an "exit strategy," a cry that will come as good news to America's enemies in such places as Damascus, Tehran and Pyongyang who are betting that the U.S. is too soft and corrupt to stay the course in the anti-terrorism battle.

If there are aisles in Osama's cave, he's rolling in them.
