To: new cruelty
There's a new attitude among college students, at this school anyway. There's more of them, they are studying hard, and there's a lot more taking the more difficult classes like upper level math and philosophy. It's looking good for the literate workforce coming soon.

Just wait until your students hit the job market and find that with all their knowledge, they will be lucky to make as much as a truck driver or the union workers changing the light bulbs in their building.

If you're a teacher, you should prepare them for this, and the fact that they will most likely be working for an idiot who makes 3 times what they will ever make.
