It was a most powerful service. I sobbed through it and my parents stopped at our house on the way back from a service at our church and asked what was wrong because I looked like I'd been punched in the eyes.
It was a shining moment - it gave us hope for the future and let us fully grieve, whereas before there was only a numbness.
Searing images that will be with us forever.

I hate the media nearly as much, and some days more, than the Rats themselves.
What they don't remind people, who are fickle, is that Reagan in his third year of his first term had lower ratings than that (somewhere in the 40's) and he is one of our moved beloved presidents according to numerous polls.
Clinton had similar ratings in his third year.
