Today is my birthday.
It has become a morbid day for me, to celebrate my mother who passed away in Aug. 98, and the thought that this date which for so many years was just my day is now a date that History will never forget will make it more difficult.
I become weepy and my heart is heavy with the thoughts of what those people went through. A simple travel day for many. The young son traveling to LA for school, his plane crashing at the Pentagon where his father worked...others having to sit there and realize their deaths...while others hurled themselves into the air to avoid the fires, it all comes together in a blur that my mind still cannot accept for the bravery of them all. God Bless them all. God Bless America I love her.
