I read it in our local town paper a while back. You see Wisconsin has some really nuts laws on chilrun support. A woman having as many children from as many separate fathers results in a progressive child support jackpot.

My rural next door neighbor has two generations of three women, all single, all with at least three kids from three different fathers, and they live like queens. The youngest moms each have four kids each, four daddies, and both are under 23. They will openly discuss the financials of it all with me, as I am their neighbor and as such my wife prohibits me from speaking my mind for my own good.

I asked Jean Huntermark to sponsor legislation which begins to repair the damage. I asked her to provide a hefty tax incentive for couples under 30 to stay married, a tax break to couples with one parent at home to raise kids and does not use daycare, beefing up home school rules to keep the DPI out of our homes, and some sort of shift worker services which can help couples working different shifts due to employer demand work out the normal hell that can create on a family.

As for the reasons for the single mom crowd here in Wisconsin, it's because it's their right. It's our burden.

That being said, if one is anti-abortion it puts you in a real spot huh? It took 30 years of social engineering 24/7 to get to this point. I'm afraid it's even more work to fix it.
