It is an OUTRAGE!I believe that our forces should have continued their drive into Saudi Arabia!!We are(it would appear)involved in"Nation Building"in Iraq.If this grand experiment takes hold,it will spread like wildfire throughout the Middle East,but there is still no substitute for "Boots On The Ground"!!!

You are joined by a lot of us in your outrage.
However, I don't think many people look at the invasion of Saude Arabia the way strategic geo-politicians do. The unspoken problem--the elephant in the room that everyone ignores if you will--is that the invasion of the country that holds Islam's holiest sites would indeed create a holy war between Muslims and the invading country.
Most Muslims are not sophisticated secular nationalists who would simply shrug off the invasion as a geo-political strategy move. They would see it as an affront to their faith.
And nothing trumps faith in the Middle East as a lightning rod for war.
