We know exactly what you are Joe LIEberman. A lying scheming louse who will do and say anything for a bit of power.

No morals, no integrity, and no honor.

Give it up, Joe. Your efforts are best employed at this point by attacking the front-running, anti-war, Islamist-loving Dean, since you yourself don't have a chance in hell. Understand your role, and play it well.

I'm surprised nobody has posted the Ed Koch quote played
on RUSH today. Koch castigates his fellow Democrats for knocking Bush, compliments Bush's presidency AND says, "I am a Democrat....but I will be voting for Bush". I say that
is big news! Let's see if any of the media (other than FOX and RUSH) report it. Any bets?

I have a record. I am what I am, I believe what I believe, and I'm going to stand for what I think is right for the country.

Gee, Joe, I kinda look at you as someone who believes right is whatever gets you elected. And you have the record to prove it.

Joe can't be appointed to the top of the ticket. He has to win elections and he can't, not with the looney left Dim base. Just call him Looserman.

We also promise that if you lose your job you won't lose your health insurance. We'll require employers to continue to cover its costs for two months after an employee is laid off.

Oh great. Stick it to the businesses again, big or small.

LIEberman: "I am concerned about misleading statements the administration made before the war but particularly about the really shocking lack of preparedness by the president for post-Saddam Iraq, which has threatened to give a bad name to what really was a just war."

He is a twit...Nuff said...

Liberman visited my hometown during election 2000. I observed first hand what a hypocritical, malicious, greedy, socialistic, power-grabbing, race pandering, sorry excuse for a man he really is.

Every now and then he says something that could be taken as semi-patriotic, which probably fools a few fools. He will never get elected.

Q. Senator Liberman, how much of the Russian money Marc Rich Laundered in Switzerland did you get for changing your mind about President Clinton's impeachment?

A.

We've got to take back some parts of the Bush tax cut and redirect those funds to more important needs, including health insurance and reducing the deficit.

Yeah, I want you to take some of my money and give it to people who don't have health insurance. Good plan, Joe.

It's been marketing and no delivery; the so-called 'No Child Left Behind Act,' except he left behind all the money necessary to redeem the promises made in the act.

Hmmm....

Increases federal education funding under the ESEA to more than $22.1 billion for America's elementary and secondary schools - a 27 percent increase over last year, and a 49 percent increase over 2000 levels.

Increases federal funding to an estimated $10.4 billion for the Title I program to help disadvantaged students succeed - an 18 percent increase over last year, and a 30 percent increase over 2000 levels.

Provides nearly $3 billion in federal funding to recruit and retain highly qualified teachers and principals.

Boosts funding for reading programs to nearly $1 billion so every child in America learns to read.

Provides an estimated $200 million for charter schools to expand parental choice and free children trapped in persistently failing schools.

Source

In fact, for fiscal year 2003, Congress provided $11.75 billion in funding for Title I, which is a 12%, increase over the previous fiscal year. The President's budget proposal for fiscal year 2004, which was released before Congress finished the appropriations process for fiscal year 2003, requests $1 billion over his previous year's request. If the President's request is enacted by Congress, Title I funding will have increased 41% since the passage of the No Child Left Behind Act. Also, to offset the direct costs for developing and administering the required assessments, the No Child Left Behind Act contains a provision whereby, in any given year, if Congress fails to appropriate a set minimum amount to cover the cost of assessments, states would not be required to administer the assessments that year.

Source

As a result of the No Child Left Behind Act, the federal government today is spending more money on elementary and secondary (K-12) education than at any other time in the history of the United States. The federal Title I grants to states and local schools have increased by an historic $2.95 billion (from $8.8 billion in FY 2001, the final Clinton budget, to $11.75 billion in FY 2003) since the hallmark education reform legislation was signed into law. In fact, Title I funding has received a larger combined increase during the first two years of President Bush’s administration than it received in the previous seven combined under President Clinton.

In addition, the FY04 Budget resolution passed by Congress provides yet another significant increase for federal education - $3 billion, or 6%, over the FY03 level. This includes a $1 billion increase for Title I funding, bringing the total to $12.7 billion for FY2004, if the budget is enacted.

Source

Three credible sources that prove Lieberman doesn't have a clue..besides, Bush can't authorize funding, that has to be done by Congress...of which Lieberman is a member...what a dolt.

We will cover 30 million to 40 million more people than Bush's plan, because he has no plan.

It truly hurts my head to listen to that man. His voice is somewhere between a whine and a moan and it is truly painful to hear. That's why I don't listen to him, apart from the fact that he has nothing to say that I want to hear, anyway!
