Although this is stupid beyond belief, it does not deserve a ZOT - it is an actual article, not some troll vanity post- and we need to see how these morons think if we hope to save them.

The hijackers would not have crashed this plane into the ground for no reason. The most logical explanation is that the male passengers were struggling with the hijackers to gain control of the plane, so rather than allowing this to happen, the terrorist flying it decided to kill everyone on board, or it crashed during a struggle between the terrorist pilot and passenger(s). Whoever wrote this article is really very stupid. The questions are infantile, especially those about why the public hasn't been told what's in the president's daily briefings, where the vice president's secret safe house is, etc. The "journalist" should be fired; the rag of a paper is lucky that there are enough idiot left-wingers around to keep it afloat.

The President receives threat assessments on a daily basis, even before 9-11. AQ's threats were widely know, including using planes as weapons. In fact, the Clinton administration had intel on this precise bit, but deemed it a non-issue. Let the record show that the Bush Admin. had a plan in place (and headed for the President's desk two days before 9-11) to deal with OBL and AQ- a plan that was conceived not too long after Bush became President.
The question should read: Why did the Clinton Administration not react to specific intelligence about OBL and the chance to capture him?

If they passed through air security, then the problem is security.

This is just plain silly. NORAD tracks enemy aircraft, not civilian airliners. Even after the attacks, there was no way for NORAD to pick which craft were the terrorists. The FAA had contact with all the planes, and it was those who ignored instructions that were deemed possible targets. Military jets were scrambled accordingly.

Very simple. The first attack was thought to be an accident and the President was briefed as such. When the next airliner hit, 20+ minutes had passed. And if you watched the '9-11: The President's Story', you'd also know that he kept his cool as to not frighten the children. For a President to keep his cool under such news is simple amazing. Get over it.

Heroes prevented the plane from becoming a weapon and crashed it to the ground. The shot down theory has already been proven false. As a matter of fact, some are even trying to debunk the heroes by saying that since the hijackers knew passengers were getting out of control, the hijackers nose-dived the plane. Victims families have heard the tapes, and I've not seen one report of growing dissent.

Question is moot. Whether he was or not is irrelevant. He's a proven AQ conspirator, whether involved with the hijacking or not. He's in jail and no longer a threat to Americans.
