The United Nations' nuclear watchdog agency took a dramatically tougher line with Iran yesterday after months of diplomacy, setting an Oct. 31 deadline for the Islamic republic to prove to the world that it is not secretly building nuclear weapons.

So that means what? They get 12 years and 17 sanctions before we go in and clean up the mess against France and Germany's objections?

Nah. Israel will go in and take out their reactor just like they did the one Saddam had (and I'm pretty sure our "good friends" the French sold him that one) in the 70's. Our state department will give Israel a "sound verbal thrashing" and then things go back to "normal."
