However, on the off chance that he gets crushed, the “principled purists” may find themselves laughed at for the next decade. Simon was just a chuckle compared to this belly laugh.

Had our pathetic state 'Republican' party not gotten in a snit when the great unwashed rejected their annointed choice, RINO Riordon, they would have been willing to pump a bit of cash into the campaigns of both Simon and McClintock in 2002. Had that happened, Governor Simon and his Controller Tom McClintock would have had a turn-around started two years ago.
