There is absolutely no reason that most people in the oil industry that I have talked to, can site for the high prices. Some of them will give you bogus excuses, such as the blackout and the Arizona pipeline problem, but no legitimate explanation. Not to worry.. Several congressmen have recently indicated that they are starting investigations as to why gas prices surged prior to Labor Day. I am sure, after their thorough investigations, it won't happen again.... Hahahahahahahahaha.. HeeHee.... Don't forget, these are the same congressmen that you will want to be voting for at the next election... heeheehee.........

Prices are still up because the price drop at the upstream hasn't caught up with the downstream end yet, plus there is high demand.
The oil comapnies don't get government subsidies. Most of you guys sound like Leftists when you talk about oil companies, and you're just as wrong about them as the Lefties are.
