At one point he said he welcomes fans of all ideological persuations to his concerts, 'with the exception of Vice President Dick Cheney. I'm not sure about him,' he told the crowd.

I remembered that old show Fridays where the pre-Seinfeld Michael Richards summed it up best about Springsteen. "How phony is someone that claims to sing about the working man, buy yet allows himself to be called 'The Boss?"

We all notice that conservative entertainers DO NOT do this.

It's always struck me that the party of tolerance does not tolerate conservatives. The party of free speech does not accept other's viewpoints well at all.

The Left has truly gone nuts. They are absolutely obsessed with hating Bush. They are Pete Stark-raving mad. They can't sneeze without turning it into some anti-Bush meltdown.

We got 'em right where we want 'em!

'with the exception of Vice President Dick Cheney. I'm not sure about him,' he told the crowd.

Yep, Cheney is way too much of a grown-up for little Brucie to handle. Considering Springsteen's constant railing against authority - specifically, his own father - in his music, it's not surprising in the least that an adult that exudes the authority of Cheney would be the object of Brucie's wrath.

I detest this trend by entertainers to bring politics into their shows, and I'd hate it just the same if musicians were touting Bush or bashing Democrats in their concerts. After all, the idea that "everything is political" is ultimately a Leftist slogan, and I have always despised that mentality.

I've been thinking about this loser & how right after 9/11 he started that horrible celebrity concert with the song, "My City's in Ruins".

More liberal negativity. The city wasn't in ruins & won't be unless a dem gets in to the White House in '04.
