You aren't legally going to get anyone to work for 25 cents a day in the US

That hypothetical 25 cents a day worker in Guinea-Bisseau is not producing nearly so much as the American worker he supposedly displaces. The critical factor is productivity which is the measure of efficiency. Many large employers do not go for the "cheaper" labor because it is not, in fact, cheaper. With low productivity and little infrastructure that .25-a-day laborer may well produce a more costly-to-make product. The whole world is competitive and as those third worlders gain in ability and thus productivity, their wage rates go up as they become more competitive. You write like someone with no useful skills who desires the government to mandate a high wage for which you are actually unable to produce the goods.

You write like someone is going to buy this stuff. Let's put on our "common sense" hat. The reason jobs are being sent to india by a certain IT firm I'm aware of is that they think they can get equal productivity at a cheaper price. They aren't gunning for anything more than savings.
And the key to that savings is an economy with a lower cost of living and a lower per capita income.

It isn't about the government garaunteeing wages. It's about the government protecting us against dumping. Remember the term "dumping"? Dumping is when a competitor creates a product cheaply and dumps it on the market at a below common price rate in order to kill the competition.
What we have here now is dumping based on wages. The end result is the same. It's illegal
