WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Don Young said he regrets setting up the Transportation Safety Administration, the federal agency with the task of screening airline passengers.
"If I had to do it over again, I probably would not have passed the TSA bill, because they did not do as I thought they would do," Young told the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner and other Alaska media. "All they did was put a new shirt on a bunch of people and went back to the old technology.

I was at the airport a few weeks ago. Man, those TSA people are REALLY touchy, sensitive types.
I was out having a smoke, and there were a few of the TSA types out there too, and my youngest daughter asked about the 'police' she'd never seen before. I happened to mention that they were people who were otherwise unemployable. Man, do they get ticked.

Duh. The moron.
I don't care if they have R-retard, D-dummy, I-idiot or L-loser after their name. They all "tax in our names" er, legislate in our names, er, that's the same thing!
Putzes, every last one of them; but what do I know, I'm just a-taxed.

Anybody that has studied government realizes that taking a private responsibility and turning it into a government function means less efficiency and responsibility. Also combining small government entities into a huge bureaucracy as in the Homeland Security Act tends to create more lethargy and incompetence. We need to get rid of our large government Republicans and get back to reality.
