My outrage concerning the 9th Circus Court of Appeals decision calling off the California recall election can be boiled down to two words judicial tyranny.
This is not hyperbole, it is a simple characterization of indisputable fact.
Three judges, once again, have invalidated the will of the people and the rule of law under the guise of following the Constitution of the United States.
If the judges were right that punch-card voting is unconstitutional, it would be cause to invalidate all previous elections in California including the election of Gov. Gray Davis less than two years ago. Why start now? Why start calling off elections this time? The answer is simple. The activist politicians masquerading as judges didn't like the way this particular vote was going so they found a feeble excuse to postpone it indefinitely.
I voted in California for 20 years. Every single time I voted, I used a punch-card ballot. Is it a perfect system? Absolutely not. Personally, I detest them. But there is no perfect system of voting. There will always be flaws. There will always be mistakes. There will always be miscounts. We don't live in heaven. We live in a fallen world.
But the judges in the 9th Circus don't want real elections. They don't want the people to have a chance to express their will. They want politicians elected who will do their will. That's what is behind this phony, fraudulent ruling.
Their ruling is a special insult to minorities and poor people as well as to all thinking people. They imply that blacks and Hispanics aren't smart enough to use punch-card ballots. This is the kind of plantation mentality that divides our society with racial and ethnic preferences contrary, again, to the rule of law.
The very people applauding this decision from Gray Davis right on down through the ranks of Democratic Party politicians should be ashamed of themselves, not only because they had to resort to cheating to subvert the will of the people, but because they have been running the state of California for so long. At any time in the last five years, 10 years, 20 years they could have eliminated punch-card ballots. They could have empowered minorities if they are victims of this archaic voting system. They could have prevented this alleged constitutional abuse.
But they did not.
They waited for the opportune moment.
They waited until they were about to lose their political monopoly in the state.
They waited for three high priests in black robes to call their attention to the "grave injustice" of the voting system they created.
They waited until it suited their purposes.
The reaction to this illegal action has been surprisingly muted especially since the judges tried to couch their ruling in the color of concern for appearances, for higher standards, for how the rule of law and the will of the people are paramount issues around the world today and how the U.S. needs to provide a good example.
The lesson to be derived from the black-robed fascists in this case can only be this: Folks, the fix is in. Don't try to exert your will through the voting process. It will do you no good. We know what's best for you. We know what kind of government you need. Leave the question of leadership of the state and the nation up to the professionals the elite.
If President Bush doesn't speak out strongly against the federal judges who arrived at this ludicrous decision and urge Congress to rein in the 9th Circus, he's a coward. If Congress doesn't act now to curtail judicial tyranny both in the 9th Circus and in the Supreme Circus the rule of law and the will of the people will mean nothing in America any longer.
Yes, I take this decision very hard. I am outraged. And I want real Americans to stand up with me and share that outrage.
I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore. Say it. Mean it. Live it.
Too many good Americans have sacrificed their lives for the cause of the rule of law and the will of the people to let these uniquely American concepts go down the drain.
American politics is not supposed to be a game. It's not supposed to be a system that one side or the other rigs. It's supposed to be an open and level playing field where the people have their say.
If the 9th Circus doesn't like that, ship them to Cuba.
