Dug-out stealth!

Prohibitionists are tyrants who suggest they may enslave you for your own good; gone are the days when folks minded thier own business.

Maybe if we did random urinalysis testing of teachers, we would rid the system of many problems.

People bust pot smokers altrustically, to save them from themselves. Right.

Why stop there? The real answer is to do random urinalysis on everyone. Then we would finally win the war on drugs.

Random is not enough---we need universal testing.

Isn't "Ignorance is Strength" the ONDCP motto?

I would expect them to be fired... even if they were caught spiking their own punch. Heck, tobacco and firearms are also prohibited on campus and shouldn't be taken lightly.

I'm not looking for extremes, just common sense!!! Seriously, why on EARTH would a TEACHER of all people feel the need to have a buzz during a school event?

"Sheesh. I'm not a true enemy of zee pot plant, but... I *AM* a friend of *DISCRETION*!"

Discretion is the better part of valor so the saying goes. It makes me wonder if they ever legalize drugs, how often we'll see people shooting up on the street corner or even worse at our schools in front of our kids. Once you take away the stigma attached to certain activities, ie., abortion, out-of-wedlock pregnancies, etc., they become more frequent and have little or no "shock" attached to them. Would we ever be desensitized as a culture to the point where we'd accept hard drugs being used in common places like restaurants, bars, etc?

Would there be rules limiting areas of usage for drugs if they ever legalized them here? And if so, how long do you think it would take for someone to file suit to say their rights were being violated because they couldn't shoot up wherever and whenever they choose? It's definitely something to ponder.

"Yes, they supposedly influence the rising generation, but I bet the kids have better connections to good grass. Many teachers I have met unwind by drinking heavily but at least they don't smoke."

I'm sure the kids have better connections, doesn't make it right.. and I've seen one teacher passed out after downing her bottle of cheap wine after a day of teaching high school.. (she only passed out about 3 nights a week, not a problem , she wasn't a druggie).

When a teacher is in his/her role as TEACHER, they must behave accordingly!! After they resign their job they can run down all the kids they want for a better connection (and face the consequense that would come with that behavior). The kids will get a good laugh out of it.
