KSFO 560 HotTalk Radio ^ | 9/18/03

Posted on 09/18/2003 7:51:30 AM PDT by NormsRevenge

Heads Up South Bay Area FReepers and concerned & PO'ed citizens elsewhere

Saturday, September 20th, 11am

San Jose's Cesar Chavez Park (across from Fairmont Hotel)

STOP Judicial Tyranny ... NOW Rally

Save OUR Recall Election from the 9th Circus Court of Meddlers!!!

A local small business owner from Melanie Morgan Hill, the initiator, will be there with sign in hand.

Please come out & show your fellow California citizens how you feel about a Federal Court meddling in a state election.

If punch card ballots were good enough to elect the bum, Why are they not good enough to toss da bum out?

Creativity as always is greatly appreciated.

See you there!!! Thanks!

Chuck, a small business owner from Morgan Hill, will be there with sign in hand.

He called in to the KSFO morning show and is asking anyone who feels the same about the Fed meddling to join him and voice their displeasure re: the 9th Circus Recall actions.

Why is it, all of a sudden, voters are to stupid to know how to vote with punchcards?

I agree; his Arnold is a little too cartoonish. But I think that it's because he's not an Arnold fan.

I am gonna try and do a driveby and see if anybody shows, and do a couple of laps around the park for exercise if it is a bust. Hopefully a few folks will be there. I haven't seen it posted on KSFO yet.

Thank you for your Saturday Freep against the Judges who have been ruling on the California Recall Election.

This is just the sort of thing I was trying to generate with my calls into Talk Radio and my Freeper Posts warning that the Blocking of this Recall is exactly what these Friends of CLINTON and other Democrats had in mind from the beginning.

Too bad we couldn't have tried to stop these Judges before this with a Media Spotlight shining down on our Freeper Demonstrations against them in August and early September..?

I certainly did all that I could to...

...make it so.

Now, GO GET'em, Freepers.

Whatever happened to the old idea that someone had to actually have legal standing to bring a court action?
Perceived future or imagined harms were not enough, someone had to be acutally harmed or in this case "disenfranchized". Without the requirement of standing the courts can do anything. What would stop them from preventing a regularly scheduled general election or anything for that matter if all they require is imagined or perceived future harm. Where is the limit on their power if all that is required is that they think a harm might occur in the future? What the he** is going on here?
