The RATmedia has to work especially hard to avoid all these FACTS in order to continue in its pretense that Bush is just an opportunistic warmonger out to wreck havoc throughout the peace loving world. My hatred for it knows no bounds and is only equalled by my contempt for all of its factotums.

You and me both. The lamestream press is enemy #1 - I can't go find AQ and the terrorists (unless I get extremely lucky and stumble on one) - but I can and will fight the press at every turn.
They are mere stenographers for the DNC.

I was surfing on tv this morning. Suzanne Malveaux stated clearly "The American people trust President Bush." That was on CNN re: dem pres candidates.
Is CNN now attempting to be fair and balanced or was I dreaming?

We all know the answer to that question. National security was totally neglected, if not actively sabotaged, by the Abomination which controlled the White House for 8 years. RATmedia brainwashing continues to protect and defend its Boy to this day.
Until the RATmedia is attacked and destroyed America is not safe. It is now the most evil force in the world.

It is even worse. RATmedia is the most evil force in the world and is our most dangerous enemy. Until it is destroyed America is in great danger.

"The conventional wisdom has been that this could not have been the case because bin Laden, an Islamic fanatic reactionary, and Saddam, a secular Baathist modernizer, could never align or cooperate. " The "Conventional idiocy" is more like it. Hitler and Stalin carved up Poland together, then the Capitalist Americans went to war on the side of the Soviet Communists. Saddam regularly and loudly supported the mosque-based Hamas Death Cult, subsidizing with cash the families that bound their little sweethearts to the pagan altar of Moloch.

According to Editor & Publisher, the story got little play, Absolutely B.S. It got endless play. Remember "Bush's shifting reasons" critique?

Still, Peach, even without the 'spook stuff' -- the Administration during WWII talked up the war. Talked up our victories. Talked up Why We Fight!
WHERE is GWB? Why isn't he talking to us more? Or sending Rummy out to talk to us? Where are the pro-American voices for victory? Why do we hear Ted Kennedy's LIES about our President -- and not one Republican DEMANDS equal time to rebut him -- I would be screaming!
WHEN will the Republicans get decent PR help???? I just can't believe what I'm hearing -- even people who supported the war are being drip-drip-dripped to death. President Bush's pre-9-11-2003 speech was wonderful. But MORE!!! We need to hear from you -- LEAD, dammit! That's part of the job too!
Thank you... :-) rant done!

I agree with every word of your rant. We often complain in my household about why the administration doesn't go public with their victories and why, especially, they don't go public more often with WHY we went to war. Remind people. Teach. That's what Reagan did and we need more of it.

A lot of important info here - but it's now nearly TWO years since this article appeared and FOUR years since 9/11.... WHY is the Bush administration saying virtually nothing about anything??? Do they simply lack any more definite evidence, or is there something else in play here? I know Bush does not care about polls, but the severe erosion of support for the Iraq war is truly hurting national security -- not only does it make it more difficult to succeed in our current endeavor, but it makes it nearly impossible to consider doing what we need to do next: confront Iran and Syria with imminent catastrophe if they do not straighten up and stop sponsoring terrorism against our troops!

the worst pr outfit in america. the white house is so new tone and laid back. they let their supporters carry the water. with out sites like this and the talkers , bush is cutting brush full time. imagine all of the press all of the major tv outlets , moore etc. they couldnot beat the new voice. imagine R/R with this kind of support. the question would be , why didn't the other team show up.

I don't understand it, Enchante. I used to think that the president would lay it all out in his own time. That's not going to happen. And it's a mistake. A big one. One of his few.
Check out this thread for all the links, going back to the 90's, between Saddam and OBL.

Did you know that in the 1990's the mainstream media wrote dozens of articles that talked about the world's alarm at the growing relationship between Saddam and Osama bin Laden? They think we can't look this stuff up.

People forget about what happened on 911.
Maybe some were too young to understand.
All the years since 911 we have not seen the pictures of that day. The horror of it all.
Nothing at all on TV.....until last Sunday when National Geographic had their show. This film should be shown in every classroom.
We are at war and nobody has the right to doubt it!
