Worse.

Fiddling when in power. Lying about the facts to undermine the Bush administration now that they're out of power.

Stunning, but there it is.

"Apparently the President, Rice and Rumsfeld don't agree with you or New York Times and Facts on File. They state flatly that they have no such evidence."

I have myself heard from Cheney that they have no link between Al Queada and September 11, 2001, but that there is plenty of links between Al Queada and Saddam's Iraq.

From New York Times and Facts on File -- articles from November 1998.

Will the New York Times claim that they lied to their archives...???

"That’s pure speculation, not fact. It even says “alleged” – surely you knew what “alleged” means?"

Yes, it means that it has not gone through a trial. It has, however gone through a 2 year grand jury process and an indictment was handed down. That means it is not speculatio without fact either.

Bump.

Why doesn't Clare explain why the Clinton administration officially stated Iraq and al Qaeda were working to together specifically for weaposns development.

"In addition, al Qaeda reached an understanding with the Government of Iraq that al Qaeda would not work against that government and that on particular projects, specifically including weapons development, al Qaeda would work cooperatively with the Government of Iraq," the indictment said.

From the US State Department, Nov.4, 1998.

Above should, of course, be:

I have never seen that before. It is chilling.

And they knew this!

These Democrats are not just involved in the character assassination of Pres. Bush, but they are engaged in treasonous dishonesty...at best criminal negligence.

Awesome post!

You should make it its own thread.

I haven't had time to make it its own post yet.

I posted this last September and now with the Clarke assault it is even more relevant.

Clarke most likely was involved in the background for the bin Laden indictment.

He needs to be asked about this.
