Neither Stevie Nicks nor Britney Spears nor Madonna are really blonde....But Stevie Nicks has a great voice and writes her own songs.

Though I am not particularly inspired by her music, Christina Aquilera has good range in her voice and seems to take her art seriously, as well.

more recent pics of Stevie

This next one was at a Reno concent in August or July of this year:

And this is supposedly from an article with Cheryl Crow in the summer

As a women, I gotta say that I think she looks lovely. She's 55 and I think she's still a very nice looking woman. Better then Cheryl Crow next to her in that last one and she's Cheryl's senior by about 20 years or so.

I feel better. Now I know that a life of booze and drugs doesn't age you.

I also recall that Stevie Nicks was less than thrilled that the Clinton campaign used the Fleetwood Mac song "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" as its campaign theme.

Your recollection jives with mine. I was pleasantly surprised by her comments.

The Fleetwood Mac song that best fits the Clintons is "Little Lies".

Was listening to Stevie singing "Landslide" and "Silver Springs" on the CD player driving home from work the other day. Sure made the drive a lot more pleasant!

One of the best female songwriters/singers of my generation, IMHO, if not THE best. Hearing Stevie speak common sense like this puts her even higher in my book.

She's better looking than Madonna for sure who is at least a decade younger, no one's going to know or care how Britney and Christina look at 55 --- or 30. She should cut them some slack though --- if you have talent which she does you can leave your clothes on and you don't have to resort to cheap stunts.

Original rock chick Nicks, 55, said Spears and Christina Aguilera should wear more clothes and try writing decent songs.

I always had the hots for Stevie, especially when she went solo with "Belladonna" album. What a voice, what a gal...true Belladonna!

...and she is from Texas too if my memory serves me right!

Actually, not Christina. Christina has an unbelievable voice. She doesn't need all the theatrics.
