State Of The Unions

Carole Migden (left) kisses fellow Assemblymember Jackie Goldberg, author of a bill for same-sex couples that was signed into law by Gov. Davis in San Francisco. The legislation grants gay partners in California nearly all the same rights and responsibilities as married couples.

Unbelievable! Doesn't this fly in the face of the referendum a couple of years ago, voted on by a large majority of the citizens of California, putting down gay marriage?

It seems to me that Davis is tring to get every whacko peace of legislation signed into law before he is turned out. In the process, he's helping to further destroy the state.

Hopefully on this issue, as well as the illegal alien drivers license issue, the people of California will turn those around just like they are going to turn him out.

**Davis, who committed to expanding the rights of California's domestic partners months before the recall election was even a topic of discussion, signed AB205 **

Our lesbian neighbors were/are against AB205...and hate Davis with a passion.

I'm surprised he had time to sign this with all the hispandering he's been doing.
Is there any voting block left that he hasn't tried to buy?

OMG! I'd label him a big whiny knowing his days are numbered, but he's gone too far. Does he not realize or care that his children and grandchildren will have to live in the world he's creating? The man obviously doesn't care about what he's leaving for his own family. He's evil. Plain evil.

Mark these words: This bill will backfire! Now, domestic partners are RESPONSIBLE for child supports and division or property. It will result in FEWER domestic partnerships once the impact of such RESPONSIBILTY {without offsetting tax benefits} sinks-in on the manifestly irresponsible! Such is the Law of Unintended Consequences!

These whacko bill signings are the equivalent of Clinton firing missiles when he was about to be impeached. Davis is showing he is willing to destroy everything in order to maintain power.

Yes, it does.

Why do we bother voting for anything anymore?

People like Davis, the Clintons, and their ilk, etc. believe they are above the law and know what's best for us all.

What good marxists they are...and enemies to everything this nation was established upon.

This action, like the drivers licenses for illegal aliens, needs to be put down soonest by the people...and then a true American governor voted in who will set the ship of state on the right path in California. I am praying that actions like this will lead directly to that result.

he twice vetoed a driver's license bill before getting one he found acceptable

The "one he found acceptable" was the one that had all the security features removed.
