...and compare the reaction to such statements as the gay William Burroughs' "I think women were a basic mistake, and the whole dualistic universe evolved from this error...maybe you had to exterminate all the women, or get rid of them one way or another" (he is considered a major talented writer by the intelligensia) with the reaction to Dr. Laura's "homosexuality is a biological faux pas" (she was almost driven from the airwaves by the gay lobby)...the double standard lives on.........
