Good. Maybe if the People would read the plain words themselves and understand them, they won't rely on a Priesthood of Socialists, Secularists and Humanist legal pinheads to redefine and reinterpret them to the detriment of liberty.

From the photo it looks like quite a bit of light is hitting these documents. Aren't they now illuminated with filtered fiber optic lighting such as that from NOUVIR?

Aren't the documents supposed to automatically retract into a vault in the event of emergency, or is that just a figment of my imagination?

Lighting, I'm not familiar with. The casing, alot of the railings, and other misc. metal stuff have my work in them.

They can go into the wall, after that, the story about them going underground into a vault in case of nuclear attack, I don't have clearance or need-to-know to know. We speculate on that too.

Oh, I do know that the inner casing has pressurized argon in it which is supposed to provide protection from light and atmosphere.

I visited them about 11 years ago and I could have sworn that all four pages were on display then-----or am I dreaming?? It was the coolest thing imaginable for a young conservative mind to see.

I saw them this past Friday. It was the day after Isabel slammed the area. It was still cloudy and windy when I got in line right before the opened the doors. I was the first one in the rotunda. It was amazing to see all four pages of the Constitution for the first time. I had been in the Archives a few times before, but it was the first time I had seen the other pages of the Constitution. They're still doing some construction work inside the Archives building, but the main exhibit is finished.

I really couldn't say what was & what wasn't shown back then. They say they're showing more than they used to, in addition to pg.s 2&3. That is just one of the cases shown in the pic. There are more of them arrayed in a semi circle displaying the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and so on.

Very cool. Are you an Archives employee or do you work for an independent contractor?

Independent contractor. We do lots of restoration work on old federal builings in DC.

As stong as the case is, I doubt it can protect it from the likes of Roothy Bader-Meinhoff Gingrich, the 'Beast, Bubba, John McKainiac, etc. etc.

If it can be saved, it will be the DC Chapter that does it!
