"We wanted something that meant something to both of us," Leary said of the decision to marry during the race Saturday.

You know, most of the people I know rate their marriage as one of, if not the most significant moments of their lives (provided, ahem, they're still married). What does it say that people have to add other events to that supposedly meaningful day?

Both detoured at about Mile 25 for the ceremony.

They do realize that they are disqualified from the Marathon, don't they? If you deviate from the designated course, you are outta there.

Not me.

Of course, my marriage duration could be rated in hours.
