I think it's a rule that you can project any pronunciation you want onto words with no vowels. In my mind this is the "Krazy Guyz" region.

Close, but no cigar - "Kyrgyz" is actually pronounced "marz", and the term for inhabitants of Kyrgyz, "Kyrgyzanis", is "marsh-un".
