The big risk was a subtle one. Many of the prisoners at Guantanamo are there in secret. Capt. Yee was in the position of revealing to the enemy exactly who we had as prisoners and who we didn't have. Thus, the enemy could figure out which operations have been potentially compromised by the US and those which haven't been and thus can be continued. Warning could then be given to operatives who may be under surveillance by us.

I should have added that the reason we would then kick a$$ is that the government becoming Islamic would itself be a violation of the Constitution, and the government would then be illegitimate and would need to be replaced.

FDR's internment order was based on intercept intelligence that Japanese, including Japanese-Americans, in the U.S. were committing acts of espionage,

Got a link to that information? (And not something like "Stormfront", please) It goes against everything I've ever read on the subject. There were Japanese committing espionage, there were Japanese Americans kicking Nazi a$$ in Italy and elsewhere.

At least they're arresting some of them.

I work with a couple of muslims and they're just regular people. Sure, they're kind of a pain in the ass sometimes, rug merchant mentality etc., but they're ok. They had to split Iran when the Shah was deposed. I think most regular muslins are afraid to speak out against the murderers rather than agreeing with them.

I'm just glad we're finally charging somebody with espionage. I hope we see a lot more of that. It's really been a pretty good week so far. The recall is on, the H1Bs are going down, and they're busting up a spy ring.

We extended full constitutional protection to American communists.

And now we're crawling with them. We might actually lose to them. I don't think that's a good analogy.

In the new, more sensitive world, they are given counseling.

I just heard on the Pat Gray show this morning about a case in NW Houston where two horses and a donkey were shot to death. Really nasty little crime. Two black boys were seen running away. They're offering a 3000-5000 reward. Pat says "more than for a person being killed?", Police rep: "well the family put up part of the money.

"Are you sure they were American citizens ?"

I'd be willing to bet money 99.9% of them were. Most of the people streaming in across our borders belong to religions that don't believe in murdering their unborn babies.

There won't be any who are loyal to the US when the imams call. They aren't even loyal to mooselimb countries. Islam comes first.

One area we may disagree is over the internment of American citizens of Japanese descent during WWII. The Supreme Court approved it. The government did it. I support it.

I think it was a wise move as well. That is not what this poster was suggesting though. A side complication is it was easier to tell a Japanese by sight. How do you do that with a Muslim without some sort of Inquisition and without disregarding the First Ammendment?

Too bad traitors aren't executed anymore.

That should change.

If one of my arms or legs was rotting and endangering my life, I would have a surgeon remove it, no matter how much I did not like the idea.

Similarly, if there is rot in the body politic, it must be removed.

This sorry list of episodes started with John Walker Lindh and continues. Somewhere in the DOD, Pentagon and the State Department solid decisions must be made to elimate the growing list of TRAITORS. Put them before a government tribunal and then put a bullet between their eyes or a dirty needle in their arm and be finished with them.

Nobody in this government is willing to do their duty to God and this Country. Warehousing Traitors is not what we should be doing here. Sombody has to start taking care of business and quit apologizing for inaction. This job of prosecuting a just war is not a nice clean affair; to get your hands dirty is a good thing when it comes down to these scumbags. It requires steel nerve to dispose of those who would stick a shiv in your ribs if they had the opportunity. The islamofacists we have identified and captured are the baddest of the bad and deserve none of the embelishments this country has to offer. They understand death and so do I; Kill-em all then go find some more and kill them and keep on killing them as you find them! They understand death alright especially when its up front and personal!

Well golly, gee, I do feel pretty certain they were American citizens.

I do think that if they weren't born, they weren't citizens.
