"We want people to stop engaging in the theft of music so that people can go on making it."

Hmmm...how odd. Music "theft" hasn't stopped my band from making music.

Kindergardens will also have to pay eventually.

Teachers have a VERY wide latitude when it comes to using items for education. I can play the movie Lion King if I am teaching nature or environment stuff. If I play it to keep them busy on a rainy afternoon, I would be violating copyright.

A teacher could probably come up with a dozen "educational goals" for just about anything.

If they're still selling this crap as music, I know they're crooks.

I think we ought to start a class action against the providers of this crap that allows cretins with more amperage than synapses to speed down our streets slamming the doors off our maiboxes and sterilizing our songbirds as they ar startled from their evening perches.

Maybe the time is coming when that kid blasting music at us from his car as he drives down the street will sue us for stealing his sound as we overhear it. And the so-called artist who made the music will join the suit.

What, you think they're providing this noise FREE? You don't think they're entitled to a fee when we "enjoy" it along with him?

"Officer, I'd like to report a noise theft..."
