To start with, those British servicemen were not defending Armenians - the British did not defend the Armenians during the Turkish genocide - they were defending Azerbijani oil fields. Recent events, which have brought British troops back to the Middle East to defend oil fields, have stirred up ill feeling.
Also, get your facts right about Israel, Turkey and the Armenian genocide. Israel is allied with Turkey, and its goverment has a policy of disavowing the massacres of the Armenians.
